Who?: Scheduling
Institute
Their industry: Private medical business growth
Their audience: Healthcare professionals - here specifically dentists
Their challenge: Showing dentists that (a) they are underutilizing their hygienists and (b) Scheduling Institute’s coaching can develop that missed potential.
Essentially, they want to present a problem, convince their readers of it, and then offer up a worthy fix. All in one interactive mailer.
Our solution: The Telescoping Slider - A sleek mail piece containing a hidden inner panel that the recipient manually slides out.
The main pros: It’s elegant, it’s quite simple, and it effectively adds an engaging element. If you check out the design that Scheduling Institute went with, you’ll see it even mimics the opening of a locked door - as if a great secret were contained inside the hidden panel.
As clinical communications specialist Rachel Paul told us, this sort of versatility was key: “I chose Red Paper Plane because I like to use mailers that are ‘outside of the box’ and not the same old postcard.”
And the results?
“The idea that this piece, itself, was ‘outside of the box’ allowed the
client to think more ‘outside of the box’. The results were better than
expected!”
